Potty training
Day two of potty training...and it's going pretty well. Yesterday I decided that the only way that I believe will work for dela is to put her in "big girl panties" and see what happens. Within a half hour she had pooped and peed in them...I know :). But it scared her and she started sobbing when she realized what she did so the rest of the day she continued to tell me and successfully pee in the potty!! Yay!!
Today she has had one pee accident that she did not like again evidenced by the dramatic crying after she felt the pee running down her legs. :). So she is learning like a pro. The big feet was poop...and all morning she has been saying "I NEED TO GO POOP!" And running to the bathroom, followed by nothing. So finally after 8 unsuccessful trips to the potty she started playing around in the bathroom and went over to her little potty a d started pooping! I'm so proud of her. She is doing so awesome!!
It looks like we may be on our way to no more diapers!!!
Here she is watching ice age on the computer, which is her reward of choice. :)

First snow day!
Dela got to go outside and play in the snow for the first time. She had a blast playing with her neighbor friends Abe and Emery. I didn't realize how much effort it takes to get her all bundled up. But she stayed warm!
she just looks so cute all snuggled up!
Valentine's Day
Blair was soo sweet this year to get Dela and I both a bouquet of tulips. But it was a funny story bc the first package of flowers came and the note in the inside was addressed to Dela. So I was a little like....ok where are my flowers....:) (jealous) but, no worries...mine arrived an hour or two later.
It was so cute to see Dela so excited about getting flowers from daddy and the note he wrote her was sooo sweet! She keeps it in her room and if you ask her what it says she says "i love you and proud of you" It just makes my heart melt. :)

good choice on flowers too...I loved the tulips! They are beautiful aren't they.
Projects
Now that Adela is two we thought we should think about switching dela to a bed. plus we need the crib for the baby soon. But I needed to get her room ready. So we painted the guest room and I spray painted an old victorian-like bed frame I got for Dela...got a few accessories and vo...aw...la.
likes to jump on her new bed...
I did a few projects in Dela's old room/the new baby room. I took some old books pages and made a collage. I think it turned pretty good.

blair's parents gave us a bed rail from when Blair and his siblings were kids. Its works pretty good.
Troy made Dela this awesome wooden "A".

Its always fun to have some little projects to do.
So there it is. Dela is officially sleeping in her "big girl bed". And it makes me a little sad to see her growing up so fast :(
Next projects are to make some meals for when the baby comes and get them in the freezer.
Any ideas of good meals that are good for freezing??? Im NOT creative when it comes to cooking so if you want to help me out...i would really appreciate it!! If you feel like it you can comment or email me a recipe at natalieneihouser@gmail.com
THANKS!
